Introduction
Southeastern Shoe Travelers Association (SESTA) evolved in November 1944. The purpose of SESTA is “to promote the best interests and welfare of its members” as well as “encourage a spirit of cooperation among those engaged in the distribution of shoes and kindred merchandise”.
About The Atlanta Shoe Market
The Atlanta Shoe Market (TASM) has grown into the largest footwear trade show in the country. Originally founded to serve the Southeastern footwear community, the show has expanded significantly over the years. In February 2000, the SESTA Board of Directors voted to officially rename the event The Atlanta Shoe Market, reflecting its national reach and industry impact.
Held twice a year in February and August, TASM continues to flourish, bringing together leading footwear brands, buyers, and industry professionals. With a focus on creating a productive and welcoming marketplace, the show provides unparalleled networking and business opportunities for the footwear industry.
